WHAT SHE WORE.

As we all know, fashion is food! (And I do not joke while I use the word food in this sentence.).There are so many Celebrities we come across but not all our on our favorite style icon list. So today I decided to write about some of my favorite style icons. So yea, here they are.

1: Amal (Alamuddin) Clooney.
My whole Amal Clooney craze began recently since I discovered about her and George Clooney. I think this Lebanese Beauty with brains isn't just something. Well, she isn't like a big celebrity or something, but she is a lawyer whose specialties are human rights, international law and criminal law. Interesting, Isn't she? Look at her, right from that gorgeous  Giambattista Valli Couture (left) to dressing up head to toe in Stella McCartney. This is not it, if this dazzles you than you will absolutely be stunned by her extremely Elegant Wedding dress designed by Late Mr. Oscar De La Renta himself. Apart from these special occasions and public appearances, the way she dresses for her official meeting will also make you fall in love with her style. Whether it be a pretty Camillo Bona dress for an meeting with the Greek minister or a chic Chanel suit for a professional visit to a museum in Athens.

This Lebanese Goddess leaves me Gobsmacked every time making her on the top of my favorite style Icon list.

Wedding dress by Oscar De La Renta.
All set for a business meeting in Camillo Bona.
Or a coffee on the go in the simple plain mint green dress

That amazing mid-thigh Giambattista Valli Couture.
Red and Black high-low Alexander McQueen gown.
Striped up - A pretty black and white striped Dolce and Gabbana dress.

Yes, she does not always do dress but also pulls off casual or formal pants

2: Emma Watson.
Hermione Granger taught us how to pronounce Wingardium Leviosa and now, Emma Watson teaches us how to pronounce Fashion. Who knew that the little Harry Potter brat would grow up to be a fashion royalty?
She is smart and beautiful. If you haven't seen her speech at the UN, then you have really missed out.  We often tend to forget that she is just 24 and has been on the red carpet since what? 11?, and since then she has always been known for what she wore and how she wore it, and her elegance will never fade. So here she is, second on my favorite style icon list.
Emma Watson in Prabal Gurung at Met Gala in New York.

And who on Earth could rock a Yves Saint Laurent suit that good?
Noah premier in a J. Mendel jumpsuit.

In Dior for a Dior private dinner.
Stunning in Dior again for a Dior fashion show.
The Fashion Royalty at Royal Marsden Dinner in Ralph Lauren.
Even graduation did not stop her from looking fab.
And that wonderful Oscar De La Renta dress.

3. Blake Lively.
SPOTTED: Blake Lively never getting off the spot light for looking absolutely gorgeous. And she never will.
We all keep talking about Serena van der Woodsen but I have to say that Blake Lively totally, with no doubt beats the upper east side S. Her style is to die for, and she definitely knows how to carry that wonderful, tall body of hers. She can make casual look too classy as well and there is no argument about that. There is no doubt that people have always wanted to dress like Blake Lively but now that she is pregnant, people say  they want to dress up like the 'Pregnant Blake'. Yup, that is pretty amazing. Not so long ago, one of the fashion magazine said ' how can someone look so pretty while they are pregnant'. I bet that's what we all are thinking about.
This Gucci girl never has left my list of favorite style icon, and now she is third on it.

In Gucci for Cannes film festival 2014.
Pretty Burberry Prorsum skirt.
In a Chanel gown at Met Gala 2011.
Dolce and Gabbana floral dress.
The golden Gucci girl - In a Gucci skirt.
Gold again in Michael Kors.

In a gown by Zuhair Murad.

Books are better than friends!

Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.–Vera Nazarian

This is so true,  I could not agree more with Vera Nazarian. Oh, yes. I love reading books too. The world is a very dark place, but you can always escape it through books. It's like a whole new world in itself. It also helps you indirectly in many many ways. In no time your vocabulary is great, your grammar is great and the most important of all your imagination is amazing. Now I know you don't want to be a story teller or a script writer but hey, who hasn't imagination ever helped?. Ever since I started reading books, it gives me a different kind of happiness, like you know there is someone going though the same problems as your are or may it be happiness. I have read books like The Perks of being a wallflower, The Fault in our Stars, If I stay, Divergent, Insurgent and currently I'm reading Allegiant. The book that very much touched me was Perks of being a wallflower. Its just so beautifully written, all the feelings, all the emotions, sometimes I just feel like somewhere inside I have a little of Charlie in me. And The fault in our stars. OH MY GOSH! what has John Green done? He is simply AMAZING! the way he spoke about Hazel Grace and her struggle with cancer and other things in life is incredible! like he has actually been though where she has but actually, he hasn't. He created this Amazing, most beautiful character ever made in the history of characters, Augustus Waters. I mean, Oh Lord, who on God's green earth can even think of a guy like Gus? I bet every girl with out a boyfriend or even with one would want Gus in her life. I know I do. He is simply amazing. being strong and supporting others while he needs the support, being so full of life when life is not even half for him, and his daily quotes, like he is a book, are so perfect. I must say I love it when he said " The world is not a wish granting factory" there is just so much in this sentence that is true. When ever I feel down I remind myself that this world is not a wish granting factory. And the way he has shown love here, you will never take teenage love as a joke ever again after reading this book. John Green is one guy I want to trade brains with. I'm serious when I say that. If I stay is also another touching  Book by Gayle Foreman. It tells us the true meaning of a Family, how important they actually are and I tell you, this book will get you in tears just as The Fault in our stars did. Now moving on to Divergent, I know a lot of people are not into teen si-fi  but I am and if you are too, you are absolutely going to fall in love with Veronica Roth's Divergent series. It just takes you to a whole new level. whilst you read it, you realize how your choices affect your life, all the consequences that come up just by one choice you've made, It also speaks on how to change according to the surrounding, which I believe is very important for all of us. Then you end up reading about this wonderful guy who is not so very wonderful in the beginning but then you see how caring this guy actually is. His name is Four. Yes, Four as in the number four and there is an amusing story behind that too. And then Insurgent teaches you how even the closest people ditch you. Even if its your brother. Even Allegiant is great. How and where your Allegiance lies. PS: You ARE going to fall in LOVE with Four!
I also like reading The Bible. My favorite verses are Mark 11:20-24 and Psalm 23. They get me though all my hard times and I'm assured that there is always a hope for life. No matter what I go through.
I read books, not because I don't have a life, but because I choose to have many.

Hello, I guess.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Well, since this is the first time I'm actually writing, I don't really know how to start. Yet I shall do it.

Hello!

I really don't think you care about my age, but I shall mention it anyways, I am 18 years old and I am a Fashion student.

I am basically an Indian who was born and brought up in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (hence Saudi at heart) and I currently reside in Pune where I study fashion

I am that girl who is always listening very carefully to your grammar. Yes, I am as you say, a CORRECTOR.

As I mentioned earlier that I am a fashion student, when, how and what you where might not matter to you but it definitely  does to me.

Apart from fashion, I enjoy acting. I believe acting is a way of experiencing different lives. Like once you are Tris, all tough and brave and later you are Hazel Grace, all sweet and wonderful. (well i like Shailene Woodley hence the examples.)

I fancy You Tubers like Tyler Oakley, Jim Chapman, Caspar Lee, Jack and Finn Harris, Zoey, Alfie, Marcus, Joey Graceffa and many others, but mostly them. I am a You Tube person but I do not like Ray William Johnson or Jenna Marbles. I wish I become a You Tuber once, and be a part of their gang. (MY TRUE DREAM!)

I also enjoy music, It gets me through the day, I don't really know what do to when I don't have any good music around me. I enjoy old music than the new ones. I believe Elvis Presley, The Beatles, ABBA, Boney M made more sense than Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne together will ever make. I do not like raps except if its Eminem's. I do enjoy listening to Cold Play and Florence and the machine. I DO NOT LIKE EDM! It gives me a headache. Also, when in trouble, a little bit of Chris Tomlin, Owl City and Hillsong always helps. And Let it be by The Beatles and Don't cry and Sweet child of mine by Gun N' Roses.

I'm a pretty confused person, always in a dilemma. I hope I figure myself out one day. I really do.
